The organic farmers could apply for modernizing their farms

From the 1st of July 2013, the regional directorates of the Government fund - agriculture, will accept applications under measure 121 for modernizing agricultural farms. The allocated budget is 2 200 000 euro. The organic farmers should have applied for financial support under measure 214 "Agri-environmental payments" sub-measure "Organic Farming" and the undertaken agri-environmental task should not be interrupted. 

Farmers who already have a certificate for organic production can also participate, excluding the producers of cereals, oilseeds and other crops.

The farmers are not allowed to apply under this measure and at the same time under the already announced measure 121 which is undergoing from 24th of June 2013 until 5th of July 2013.
